Any natural person (e.g. employees, shareholders, suppliers, customers, freelancers) can pre-submit a report on known violations in the context of their work.
Infringements of internal regulations and/or applicable laws, including violations of the Criminal Code, the Code of Ethics, human rights violations and breaches of environmental obligations or risks, as well as violations of European legislation, can be reported through various channels. Even indications or suspicions of violations can be reported and will be treated seriously. Therefore, in this document, "violations" will refer to both actual and potential violations.
The Board of Directors has appointed the Chief Compliance Officer of thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe as the person responsible for the internal whistleblowing system and procedure ("System Officer"). The System Manager ensures compliance with all requirements of Law 2/2023 regarding the operation of the whistleblowing channel, the protection of the whistleblower and the conduct of the investigation, and establishes a joint approach with the CO/L&C-INV for conducting investigations. The System Manager in charge of managing the whistleblower system offers guarantees of impartiality, is independent, is not subject to instructions and is bound by professional secrecy. Complaints received, which may also be submitted anonymously, are treated confidentially and complainants are protected by all appropriate means against any disadvantage arising from a complaint.
Complainants may submit a complaint through the various complaint channels described below. The System Manager will, in cooperation with the CO/L&C-INV, agree on the appropriate investigative procedures depending on the scope of the complaint and take appropriate action at thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe if necessary.

If a face-to-face meeting is requested, it will be arranged within 7 days. If the complaint is made orally, subject to the consent of the complainant, the system manager will document the complaint in a secure, durable and accessible format, or by a transcript of the conversation.
